Rúben Branco
PhD in Economics by Nova School of Business and Economics, 2013, with thesis on Macroeconomics, Economic Policy and Political Economy. Research assistant at Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, 2012-2013. Was responsible for an Economics course in the Political Science and International Relations degree, at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and developed research visits at University of Maryland (U.S.A.) and Banco de Portugal. Has exposed his research work at international conferences and seminars. Performed scientific review to international academic journals and co-published on the Banco de Portugal Economic Bulletin. Rúben is currently the Chief of Cabinet of the Secretary of State to the Vice Prime Minister, Government of Portugal. Was management consultant at McKinsey & Company, 2005-2007. Undergraduate Degree in Economics by University of Coimbra, 2005.
