Jorge Dias

At the age of 54, Jorge Dias has a great curriculum and extensive professional experience. He was a professor at UTAD, worked at the Institute of Douro and Port Wines (IVDP), worked on the creation of Lavradores de Feitoria and was chief of staff of the Secretary of State for Rural Development, Bianchi de Aguiar. Today he is a general Director in the Gran Cruz Porto  and he consider that this course is possible thanks to the training that he obtained at the University of Tras-os-Montes (UTAD). "I always consider myself to be an entrepreneur in what I have been involved in. There is entrepreneurship when there are three factors present: capital, work and knowledge. There is no doubt that an UTAD gave me at least a third of what my life has been."
