Filipe Pinto

Filipe Pinto graduated in Painting at Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Holds a master degree in Philosophy – Aesthetics by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the NOVA University, where he currently is a doctoral candidate. Co-organized the seminar EPEA – Aesthetics and Politics between the Arts (2012, 2013 and 2014: www.epea2014.weebly.com) as well as the International Conference on Philosophy and Film (www.philosophyfilmlisbon.net/). He is an artist and writes about art. Has been publishing essays, book reviews and art projects in magazines such as Artecapital, Imprópria, Intervalo, ESC:ALA and Cinema.
