Antonieta Leite

Antonieta Reis Leite (Angra do Heroísmo, Azores, 1975). Degree in architecture from the Coimbra University, (dARQ) in 2000.

Holds a Doctoral Programme (2002-2004) in History of Art and Architecture in Iberoamerica and a Master from the Pablo de Olavide University at Sevilla in 2005.

Ph.D in Architecture at Coimbra University (2012).

Post-Doc researcher at CES-UC and at CHAM-UNL|UAÇ since March 2013, with the research project named “10 Azorean new towns (sixteenth century). Urbanism, land tenure and administration in the Atlantic settlement process”, a project financed with a FCT’s Grant. Currently, is a Architecture’s History and Theory Professor in ARCA-EUAC.
